Description For Director- Software Engineering

Nike is seeking a Director of Engineering for their Marketing Assets Platform to lead media asset management and delivery powering Nike's global consumer experiences. This role requires a passionate leader who understands Nike's marketing vision, shapes roadmaps, evangelizes technical direction, mentors engineers, and delivers business value.

The position involves building solutions for managing and delivering media assets at Nike's global scale. Using Agile principles, you'll develop cloud-based solutions for a best-in-class digital asset management platform. You'll lead geographically distributed teams working on asset storage, rights management, digital transformations, GenAI automation, and publishing services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • 12+ years technology experience in software development
  • 6+ years technology leadership experience
  • Deep understanding of software architecture and DevOps
  • Experience with microservices, Java, Node.js, React
  • AI/ML and GenAI implementation experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
