Responsibilities For Robotics Support Engineer
- Diagnose issues for Nimble's fleet of robots
- Read and interpret specifications, diagrams, manuals and other documentation
- Investigate robot logs for issues with mechanical, electrical, and software systems
- Work with software, hardware, and robotic engineering teams to test and root cause issues
- Develop new standard operating procedures for maintenance and diagnostics tasks
- Alleviate operational issues with Nimble's Robotics and Fulfillment software
- Help prioritize hardware and software improvements using data-driven approach
- Provide timely response to operations and maintenance teams
Requirements For Robotics Support Engineer
- Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing/production environment or 2 years with BS in engineering
- Hands-on experience with robotics and mechanical systems
- Experience using electrical tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Demonstrated excellence with simple scripting languages (Python)
- Strong technical curiosity and debugging skills
- Ability to physically repair mechanical equipment
- Experience using Linux day-to-day
- Demonstrated excellence in communication and documentation
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
