Description For System Integration and Test Engineer

Nimble is revolutionizing the logistics industry through advanced robotics and AI technology. They're developing the world's first general-purpose mobile manipulator robots capable of performing all core warehouse functions.

As a System Integration and Test Engineer, you'll be instrumental in supporting the development of Nimble's robotic systems, focusing on firmware test development, execution, and continuous improvement. You'll work with a world-class cross-functional team on the most advanced robotic systems in logistics.

The role demands expertise in electrical engineering, PCB development, and embedded systems. You'll be designing power systems, developing circuits, and architecting large electromechanical systems. The position offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, equity, and 401k.

Responsibilities For System Integration and Test Engineer

  • Design full power systems, circuits, layouts and PCBs
  • Debug electronics using various tools
  • Architect, develop and maintain large electromechanical systems
  • Provide input on all aspects of product development
  • Investigate issues and identify solutions independently across disciplines

Requirements For System Integration and Test Engineer

Python
Linux
  • BS/MS/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 2-5 years of Electrical Engineering experience
  • Experience developing PCBs, firmware, and testing platforms for mechatronic/robotic systems
  • Knowledge of CAN, I2C, SPI, TCP/IP, UART, MQTT protocols
  • Experience with low voltage brushless and brushed electric motors
  • Experience designing electronics for high EMI environments
  • Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers
  • Proficiency with oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer
  • Experience with PCB schematics, design, layout, fabrication
  • Knowledge of Linux, STM32, RTOS
  • Programming skills in C/C++, Python
  • Experience with Altium
  • Experience with robotics and/or industrial automation
