Description For System Integration and Test Engineer

As a System Integration and Test Engineer, you'll be instrumental in supporting the development of Nimble's robotic systems, focusing on firmware test development, execution, and continuous improvement. You'll work with a world-class cross-functional team on the most advanced robotic systems in logistics.

Responsibilities For System Integration and Test Engineer

  • Design full power systems, circuits, layouts and PCBs
  • Debug electronics using various tools
  • Architect, develop and maintain large electromechanical systems
  • Provide input on all aspects of product development
  • Investigate issues and identify solutions independently across disciplines

Requirements For System Integration and Test Engineer

  • BS/MS/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 2-5 years of Electrical Engineering experience
  • Experience developing PCBs, firmware, and testing platforms for mechatronic/robotic systems
  • Knowledge of CAN, I2C, SPI, TCP/IP, UART, MQTT protocols
  • Experience with low voltage brushless and brushed electric motors
  • Experience designing electronics for high EMI environments
  • Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers
  • Proficiency with oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer
  • Experience with PCB schematics, design, layout, fabrication
  • Knowledge of Linux, STM32, RTOS
  • Programming skills in C/C++, Python
  • Experience with Altium
  • Experience with robotics and/or industrial automation
