The position involves working with various technologies including Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, ETL Tools, Pentaho Data Integration (PDI), Unix/Linux, and Microsoft tools. The ideal candidate will collaborate with software and systems engineers to manage data conversion projects effectively.

The role operates on a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office (with Tuesday and Wednesday being mandatory office days) at one of their locations in Cedar Rapids, IA, Lake Saint Louis, MO, or Mandan, ND.

Responsibilities For Data Conversion Programmer

  • Perform basic to moderate level research, design and conversion of Member/Customer data to NISC platforms
  • Perform basic conversion fixes regarding data issues
  • Assist with basic data analysis and mapping
  • Follow established conversion methodologies and guidelines
  • Perform basic quality testing including data validation, verification and balancing
  • Perform frequent communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage data in NISC's internal issue tracking tool

Requirements For Data Conversion Programmer

Linux
MySQL
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer/IT related field or relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases
  • Basic knowledge of ETL tools and processes
  • Basic knowledge of business-related software applications
  • Basic knowledge of Telecom industries
  • Strong attention to detail
