Java Backend Developer (Latam)

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the role. To succeed as a Java Backend Developer, you must have the following knowledge and experience:

• Must reside in Latin America
• Microservices:
  • Proven experience in Java, minimum 4 years, knowledge of Java 8 or higher, Java Certification desirable
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Microservices development and design
  • Experience integrating SOAP Web Services
  • Knowledge of API / Restful design
  • Experience in SpringBoot, and solid knowledge of the Spring framework, Spring Security
  • Experience in nodeJS
  • Knowledge of design patterns (Circuit Breaker, SAGA, Choreography, Orchestration)
• Technologies:
  • Knowledge and experience in cloud technologies
  • Knowledge and experience in Kubernetes
  • Knowledge and experience in agile work methodologies
• CI/CD:
  • Experience in version control using Git/Git-Flow
  • Experience in testing: unit, integration, and performance tests
  • Knowledge of Code Review practices (manual or automatic with technological solutions)
  • Knowledge of DevOps culture
  • Knowledge of DevOps toolchain
  • Agile Development
• Security:
  • Secure Development Culture
  • Proactively address security issues in development regarding vulnerability management
  • Data Security: cryptographic handling
  • Security tools: familiarity with vulnerability scanner tools
  • Knowledge of SDLC
  • Knowledge of third-party libraries and their risks
