Responsibilities For Performance Test Engineer
- Collaborate with other teams who are responsible for software engineering
- Collaborate with other testing teams for knowledge sharing and technology unification
- Provide testing estimates and meet project testing timelines
- Report bugs/errors discovered per standardized tools and processes
- Support Testing and quality activities within Agile delivery
- Keeping updated with the latest industry developments
- Perform Performance Engineering & Performance Improvement activities
- Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability
- Participate in architecture and design reviews of complex solutions
- Work with profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis
- Analyze CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection, DB Parameters and DB Reports
- Collaborate with Business/Application teams to improve system performance
- Plan and execute performance tests using an automated testing environment
Requirements For Performance Test Engineer
- Minimum of 8+ years of proven professional experience
- 3-5 years' experience in Microservice development, Java/J2EE performance tuning, DB performance tuning, Garbage collection and Heap analysis
- Flexibility to coordinate and support during onshore hours if needed
- Good knowledge of Jmeter 4.0, Blazemeter, Postman and LoadRunner tools
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Graphana, AppDynamics, Datadog
- Proficient in designing Performance Test Scripts (UI and API) for enterprise applications
- Experience with service-oriented architecture and RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge of performance-tuning SQL queries
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and work experience
