Responsibilities For Quality Automation Engineer
- Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products
- Develop an automation roadmap and helps initiate the right framework and maintain the existing automation suite
- Empower the project test teams to do their own automation with the help of right tools and strategies
- Develop, modify, and execute automated scripts and programs for testing
- Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
Requirements For Quality Automation Engineer
- A minimum of 4 to 6 years of proven professional experience
- Experience in test automation techniques for complex interdependent programs/projects
- Hands-on experience writing test automation scripts with Selenium & Java
- Experience working with Test Planning, execution, and tracking tools
- Experience with Cucumber, JBehave, Jasmine, or similar testing frameworks using BDD practices
- Experience working with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
- Knowledge on Git and Charles
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- UI/Web Automation: Java, Selenium
- API Automation: RestAssured
- Framework: Cucumber, TestNG, Maven Framework
- DB: Mongo DB, or any other DB knowledge
- Manual API testing using Postman, Manual testing
- GitHub, JIRA
- CI/CD: Jenkins or Github Actions
- Agile Methodology
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in specific technical fields like computer science, math, or statistics preferred; or equivalent practical experience
