Responsibilities For Cybersecurity Engineer

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide expert guidance
  • Act as a trusted advisor for security-related questions and concerns
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of security services
  • Develop, deploy, and operate security mechanisms within client environments
  • Guide/lead mitigation strategies for identified vulnerabilities and threats
  • Design and execute security operations processes, procedures, and runbooks
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents

Requirements For Cybersecurity Engineer

  • 3+ years of experience in a hands-on cybersecurity role
  • Experience using native security services from AWS and Azure
  • Knowledge of common security frameworks and controls (NIST, CIS)
  • Experience investigating security events/incidents
  • Understanding of data protection mechanisms, including encryption
  • Be a self-starter with an initiative for action
  • Speak confidently about positions and recommendations
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment
