Description For Field Service Engineer- Baltimore/ DC

Noah Medical is building the future of medical robotics, focusing on early diagnosis and treatment across multiple indications. As a Field Service Engineer (FSE) at Noah Medical, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Noah Medical products. You'll work closely with clinical staff and patients, providing exceptional customer support. The role requires strong knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and fluid components, as well as the ability to diagnose issues and apply appropriate solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing on-demand technical support, including after-hours and weekend support
  • Installing and maintaining Noah Systems at customer facilities
  • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and system upgrades
  • Becoming a technical subject matter expert on Noah Medical products
  • Supporting marketing and sales efforts at seminars and trade shows
  • Providing feedback to R&D regarding system performance and customer comments
  • Managing company assets and maintaining accurate documentation

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An Associate's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Fluidics (or military equivalent)
  • 3-5 years of field service experience in the Medical Equipment Industry (preferred)
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to read and interpret electronic and fluidic schematics
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time initially

Responsibilities For Field Service Engineer- Baltimore/ DC

  • Install, troubleshoot and repair Noah Systems at customer facilities
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance including calibrations, hardware or software upgrades
  • Provide on-demand first and second level technical support to customers
  • Become a technical subject matter expert on Noah Medical's product
  • Support Marketing and Sales for seminars, trade shows, or demonstrations
  • Provide detailed feedback to R&D regarding performance, serviceability, and customer comments
  • Accurately document all service activities and maintain spares inventory
  • Travel up to 75% of the time initially

Requirements For Field Service Engineer- Baltimore/ DC

  • Associates degree (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Fluidics) strongly preferred or military equivalent
  • 3-5 years Field Service experience in the Medical Equipment Industry preferred
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret electronic and fluidics schematic diagrams and flowcharts
  • Excellent computer and technology skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Possession of a personal, reliable car able to transport company tools and equipment
