As a Sr. Product Engineer in our Product Engineering Team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and optimizing disposable endoluminal medical devices. Your responsibilities will include CAD work, prototyping, root cause analysis, deriving design requirements, documenting test protocols, and participating in design reviews and technical discussions.
The ideal candidate has 3-6 years of experience in medical devices, with strong skills in CAD, design for manufacturing, DOE, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. A degree in mechanical, material science, or biomedical engineering is required.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,600 - $150,800 USD for candidates in California, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, equity, bonus program, paid time off, and various perks. Responsibilities For Sr. Product Engineer, I&A
- CAD, iterate and prototype devices, test fixtures, manufacturing fixtures
- Perform thorough root cause analysis on unexpected failures
- Derive design requirements, failure modes, design outputs, risk controls
- Document test protocols, test reports and elements of the design history file
- Prepare and/or participate in group design reviews, brainstorming sessions and technical strategy discussions
- Communicates and estimates on planned dates, progress and efforts of work
- Presents technical content to non-technical cross-functional teams and physicians
Requirements For Sr. Product Engineer, I&A
- 3-6 years of experience in medical device
- Skilled in creating complex components and assemblies in CAD
- Skilled in design for manufacturing and fabrication methods
- Skilled in DOE, root cause analysis and characterization studies
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration
- Skilled in project management activities for development
- B.S, M.S or Phd in mechanical, material science, and/or biomedical engineering
