Frontend Software Engineer

Nominal is a venture-backed company specializing in software and data management products for organizations testing and validating complex physical systems like drones, planes, rockets, engines, satellites, and nuclear reactors. As a Frontend Software Engineer at Nominal, you'll be responsible for:

• Innovating at the cutting edge of front-end technology
• Building complex visualizations and powerful editor-like experiences
• Designing scalable APIs using tRPC
• Helping grow the team through sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding

We're looking for candidates with:

• Experience in developing complex products for engineers or time-series visualization tools
• A passion for creating beautiful, intuitive interactions
• Drive to shape projects and clarify the unknown
• Excitement about being a foundational team member
• Interest in occasional travel to end-user sites

Our tech stack includes TypeScript, Next.js, React, Radix UI, Tailwind, tRPC, and WebGL. We also have our own custom UI library built on top of Radix UI.
