Description For Mission Operations Engineer

Nominal is a venture-backed company specializing in software and data management products for organizations testing and validating complex physical systems like drones, planes, rockets, engines, satellites, and nuclear reactors. As a Mission Operations Engineer, you'll bridge Nominal's software with real-world applications, becoming an indispensable advisor to customers. You'll deploy and integrate Nominal's tech, train and support users, enhance and evolve products based on feedback, build relationships and business, solve and streamline issues, and act as a vital link between Nominal and customers. The role requires proven engineering expertise, technical problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, leadership qualities, and project management experience. You'll be working with cutting-edge technology in aerospace, defense, industrial, and advanced energy applications, helping to accelerate how engineering teams test and validate hardware systems. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on customer operations and drive Nominal's technology to new frontiers.

  • Be the Bridge between Nominal and customers, translating needs into solutions

Requirements For Mission Operations Engineer

Python
  • Proven engineering expertise in hardware engineering
  • Strong problem-solving skills and systems thinking
  • Excellent communication and influencing abilities
  • Leadership qualities and team player attitude
  • Project management experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS Clearance
