Description For Product Development Engineer

Noora Health is seeking a Product Development Engineer to support their mission of improving health outcomes by equipping family caregivers with essential skills. Founded in 2014, Noora Health has trained over 10.6 million caregivers across 10,900+ facilities in India, Bangladesh, and Indonesia using their Care Companion Program.

As a Product Development Engineer, you will:

  • Support the entire software development lifecycle
  • Develop robust backend services and APIs
  • Design efficient database structures
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and UX designers
  • Build responsive frontend interfaces
  • Plan and develop new features with the product team
  • Write clean, maintainable code
  • Explore new technologies to enhance development and performance
  • Use analytics to improve system performance and user experience
  • Maintain and enhance existing projects
  • Communicate actively with team members

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4-6 years of software development experience
  • Strong backend development skills (Javascript, Python, Java)
  • Experience with database management systems and frontend frameworks
  • Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and LLM-based operations
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment
  • An engineering degree or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work with uncertainty and adapt to changes
  • Excellent communication skills
