Senior DevOps Engineer W&E

Northstrat is seeking an experienced and driven Senior DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CI/CD Pipeline development and implementation. This role is part of a program that produces Mission Management web applications for the Intelligence Community, leveraging cloud-based microservices architecture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and building automated CI/CD pipelines for complex software products
• Maintaining and improving automated software build processes using tools like GitLab, DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Automating continuous integration, deployment, scaling, and monitoring of applications and services
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth code integration across environments
• Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure, deployment, and automation issues
• Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Continuously improving and optimizing infrastructure and automation processes

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience designing and developing CI/CD Pipelines
• 3+ years of DevSecOps experience
• 2+ years of experience with CI tools like GitLab or Jenkins
• Experience integrating Security Scans (SAST and DAST) into CI/CD Pipelines
• Knowledge of automated configuration processes and tools (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell)
• Experience with on-premises and cloud computing systems
• Strong skillset with DevOps Pipelines and standard CI/CD tools
• Ability to write scripts in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar
• Active Top-Secret clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP)
