Description For Systems Engineer - TS

Northstrat is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their Engineering Team supporting multiple teams across the GVS program in an Agile environment. The role involves planning engineering activities during release planning events, performing engineering studies, and working with the government customer to shape on-contract growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server, and Amazon Web Services
  • Managing COTS & GOTS software versions
  • Translating customer requirements into Engineering and Development Features
  • Working with SAFe and Agile Release Trains
  • Collaborating across multiple teams, bridging sustainment and enhancement priorities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience (5 years) or Master's degree (3 years)
  • Active Top Secret with SCI clearance (mandatory)
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure and architecture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment

Desired skills:

  • 2+ years of geospatial domain experience
  • Experience working with NGA customer
  • Cloud and Agile certifications
  • Experience with GIS technologies and cyber security
