Frontend Mobile Engineer

Novig is revolutionizing the sports betting landscape by creating the first high-frequency, commission-free sports trading platform in the US - essentially the NASDAQ of betting. Recently closing a $6M seed round from prestigious investors including YC, Lux, Soma, Paul Graham, and Joe Montana, Novig is tackling the $300B annual US sports betting market. The platform uniquely allows users to bet directly against friends or the market, eliminating traditional sportsbook constraints and ensuring better odds.

As a founding frontend engineer, you'll be instrumental in building the client-side of our web and mobile applications using React and React Native. The role offers competitive compensation ($110k-$160k) with significant equity (0.10%-0.60%) and comprehensive benefits. Founded by recent Harvard graduates with experience at Jane Street and BoA, the company aims to replace traditional sportsbooks' exploitative model with a more efficient, fair, and profitable P2P exchange.

The ideal candidate should have a strong computer science background, familiarity with our tech stack (TypeScript, React, React Native, Node, GraphQL), and passion for sports and markets. You'll work independently and with small teams, taking ownership of critical UIs and contributing to building the leading sports betting marketplace.
