Description For Traffic Analysis Software Engineer

Nozomi Networks is seeking a Traffic Analysis Software Engineer to join their expanding team. This role involves designing and implementing features, reducing tech debt, supporting team processes, and contributing to overall success in a fast-paced, agile environment. The ideal candidate will take ownership of user-facing features from inception to release.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing using available technologies while learning new ones
  • Implementing medium to large size features while reducing system tech debt
  • Supporting colleagues to achieve team success
  • Championing team processes

Required skills:

  • Proficiency in Golang, C++, or other widely used programming languages
  • Strong skills in algorithms, data structures, and concurrent programming
  • Experience with automated testing (TDD, BDD, etc.) is a plus
  • Ability to operate in settings with strong confidentiality and data privacy protocols

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience with Postgres and Ruby on Rails
