Description For Developer Productivity Engineer

Developer Productivity Engineers (DPEs) at Nx are crucial team members focused on helping engineering teams optimize their development processes through Nx adoption and Nx Cloud implementation. The role combines technical expertise with customer success responsibilities, making it ideal for those who excel in both technical implementation and client relationships. As a DPE, you'll be instrumental in supporting the sales cycle, leading product demonstrations, managing customer onboarding, and ensuring ongoing success through regular check-ins and reviews. The position requires a unique blend of technical knowledge about CI/CD optimization, development workflows, and the ability to communicate effectively with both engineers and senior management. You'll be responsible for improving development experience and CI times while building strong relationships with customer stakeholders. Success in this role is measured through account retention, expansion, and customer satisfaction. The position offers the opportunity to work remotely while occasionally traveling to visit customers and attend industry events. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys the intersection of technical problem-solving and customer relationship management, with a focus on helping development teams achieve better productivity through tooling and best practices.
