Nursa, a venture-backed healthcare staffing platform founded in 2019, is seeking a Senior Director of Developer Experience to lead their technical operations and enablement initiatives. This key leadership role reports directly to the VP of Engineering and oversees a team of 12 professionals across database optimization, test automation, DevOps, security, and IT functions.
The position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of healthcare staffing technology while leading critical initiatives in architectural improvements, cross-functional collaboration, and process optimization. The role combines technical leadership with strategic thinking, requiring expertise in infrastructure management, security, and team leadership.
Working from the Murray, Utah headquarters in a hybrid model, you'll be responsible for managing an internationally distributed team while driving innovations in CI/CD, incident response, testing practices, and architecture evolution. The tech stack includes TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Kubernetes in GCP.

Responsibilities For Senior Director, Developer Experience
- Lead a distributed Developer Experience team of 12 people managing database optimization, test automation, DevOps, security, and IT
- Manage database migration, infrastructure management, CI/CD management, and regression testing cycle
- Foster innovation within Developer Experience and Engineering teams
- Iterate on Nursa's security program and posture
- Contribute to strengthening Engineering culture
Requirements For Senior Director, Developer Experience
- Deep hands-on experience in pipeline and infrastructure management
- Seasoned leader with strong communication skills
- Experience leading operations or enablement team
- Technical depth to understand implementations and recommend improvements
- Security knowledge and exposure
- Must be available starting at 8am MT and work at least three days per week in office
