Solution Engineer

Nuvei's Solution team is seeking a Solution Engineer to act as a technical and payment product consultant. The role involves architecting client or partner platforms with Nuvei payment services, applying both client business demands and Nuvei best practices. As a Solution Engineer, you'll be the technical leader for new demands throughout the technical journey with Nuvei and serve as a liaison to our technology partners ecosystem, products, and services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as a key Solution leader with knowledge in payment technologies and integration frameworks
• Coordinating project timelines and development efforts
• Defining go-to-market strategies and architectural manuals for client onboarding
• Leading demand management and client meetings
• Mentoring demand projects and training client-facing teams
• Understanding business frameworks and technical implications in the payment landscape
• Identifying product gaps and shaping APIs, payment features, and Nuvei services
• Establishing operational excellence and improving processes
• Applying consultative methodologies to solve solution pain points
• Managing multiple tasks and collaborating in a global, remote environment

Requirements:

• 6+ years of hands-on integration and solution experience
• 5+ years of engineering management experience
• 4+ years of experience in the payments industry
• B.S. in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of web technologies, data models, and SQL
• Experience with cloud-based services and online data distribution
• Creative thinking and ability to understand client pain points
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven startup environment
