Description For ASIC Verification Engineer

NVIDIA is seeking passionate ASIC Verification Engineers for their Graphics team, focusing on memory subsystem components for Graphics Processors and Tegra SOCs. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact various product lines from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and AI. The position involves planning and implementing IP/Cluster/SOC functional verification, creating regression plans, and performing pre-silicon validation activities.

The role requires expertise in ASIC verification, RTL design, and collaboration with various teams including hardware architects, performance verification teams, and software teams. You'll work with cutting-edge technology in a company that's pushing the boundaries of what's possible in graphics processing, artificial intelligence, and automotive technology.

As an ASIC Verification Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of complex hardware designs through verification methodologies, working with state-of-the-art tools and technologies. Responsibilities For ASIC Verification Engineer

  • Own ASIC verification of IP/Cluster for complicated designs in RTL
  • Work with HW architects and designers on implementation choices
  • Interact with Performance verification teams
  • Ensure functional and code coverage of RTL verification
  • Partner with FPGA and S/W teams for software testing
  • Participate in post-silicon verification and debug

Requirements For ASIC Verification Engineer

Python
  • BS / MS or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of design experience
  • Experience in ASIC verification of complex design units
  • Background with design and verification tools (VCS or equivalent, Debussy, GDB)
  • System Verilog and UVM based methodology knowledge
  • Knowledge of Memory controllers
  • Good debugging and problem solving skills
  • Scripting knowledge (Python/Perl/shell)
  • Good interpersonal skills and teamwork ability
