Chip Architect Engineer

NVIDIA is seeking a motivated Chip Architecture Engineer to work on the Spectrum Switch with a highly inventive team. The role involves defining chip architecture end-to-end, from market requirements through design and all product life cycles. You'll be part of the team defining the NVIDIA GPU interconnect protocol and architecture. Responsibilities include collaborating with various teams, performing research and analysis for current and future architectures, and developing proof of concepts with sophisticated customers.

Key responsibilities:

• Define Spectrum Switch chip architecture
• Work on GPU interconnect protocol and architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Perform research and analysis
• Develop proof of concepts

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Programming skills
• Knowledge of computing and networking systems
• Can-do attitude and high energy
• Leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn complex concepts quickly
• Attention to detail and focus on design quality

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in system architecture (CPU/GPU/Memory/Storage/Networking)
