Description For Chip Design Engineer

NVIDIA, the world leader in accelerated computing, is seeking a talented Chip Design Engineer to join their Chip Design Methodologies & Shared Code team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic, technology-driven company that's transforming industries through AI and digital twins.

The position involves creating shared RTL code solutions and developing innovative methodologies for chip design teams. You'll work at the intersection of hardware design and automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize design processes and implement cutting-edge solutions. The role requires expertise in RTL design and verification tools, combined with strong interpersonal skills.

As part of NVIDIA's prestigious engineering team, you'll contribute to developing great products by driving innovation and raising efficiency standards. You'll have the opportunity to work with some of the most forward-thinking professionals in the industry, engaging with EDA vendors and implementing the latest technologies in chip design development.

The ideal candidate should have a BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with at least one year of hands-on RTL design experience. Responsibilities For Chip Design Engineer

  • Create shared RTL code and solutions designed for broad adoption by chip design teams
  • Develop innovative methodologies and technologies for chip design development
  • Partner with chip design experts across teams to identify challenges and devise optimal solutions
  • Work closely with the design automation team to deliver comprehensive solutions
  • Engage with EDA vendors to explore the latest tools and technologies
  • Organize and conduct guidance sessions for designers on design methodologies topics

Requirements For Chip Design Engineer

  • BSc degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • 1+ years hands-on RTL design experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability & desire to innovate
  • Exposure to design and verification tools
