Description For Engineering Manager, Robotics and ML Applications

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished full stack robotics lead for our Isaac Robotics & ML applications team. The team plays a pivotal role in advancing the capabilities of mobile robots, enabling them to complete sophisticated tasks across diverse environments using ground breaking machine learning solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the roadmap for building reference Robotics & ML applications using Isaac technology
  • Define deliveries and work packages, synchronizing missions and dependencies across teams
  • Drive architectural decisions and designs for reference applications
  • Collaborate with other Isaac teams to deploy, validate, and extend capabilities
  • Supervise and support the team on design and code reviews (C++, Python, Pytorch and NVIDIA TAO toolkit)
  • Mentor and supervise a team of robotics SW engineers

Requirements:

  • MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant field for robotics, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ overall years of industry experience
  • 4+ years of experience managing and leading teams
  • At least 5 years of relevant proven full stack robotics experience
  • Hands-on experience with real-time autonomous system projects
  • Experience in architecting and deploying innovative robotics and ML applications
  • Excellent communication, analysis and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with integrating robotics and ML technologies on edge and cloud platforms
  • Prior experience shipping autonomous robots products
