Description For GPU Firmware Manager

NVIDIA is seeking a top-notch system software manager to lead the GPU Firmware team. This challenging role involves developing, debugging, and maintaining GPU firmware throughout the NVIDIA GPU lifecycle. The ideal candidate will drive execution of GPU firmware for multiple consumer product lines, define firmware feature roadmaps, and provide direction for creative boot software solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team to develop GPU firmware
  • Collaborating with hardware, software, and business teams
  • Working with OS and PC vendors to improve startup experience
  • Improving team software process and core infrastructure
  • Evaluating and enhancing firmware security

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years in the software industry
  • 4+ years leading teams developing device BIOS, firmware, or low-level software
  • Strong C skills and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of software process

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with PC architecture, PCI/PCIe, and display technologies
  • UEFI development experience
  • Understanding of secure development concepts
