Description For GPU PCIe and Boot Architect

NVIDIA, a global leader in accelerated computing, is seeking a GPU PCIe and Boot Architect to join their innovative team. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact product lines ranging from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and artificial intelligence. The position focuses on designing architecture and infrastructure for boot, PCIe/CXL enumeration, and capability discovery.

As a member of the architecture team, you'll work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with a global team of extraordinary professionals. The role requires expertise in GPU sub-system modules, architecture planning, and feature implementation for next-generation GPUs. You'll be responsible for creating functional and performance models, supporting post-silicon validation, and working across different engineering disciplines.

The ideal candidate should have strong foundations in computer architecture or electrical engineering, with practical experience in C/C++ programming and ASIC design. Knowledge of advanced interconnects (PCIe, AXI, nvlink), scripting languages, modern security constructs, and RiscV architecture would be advantageous.

  • BS or MS in compute architecture, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (or related degree)
  • 2-4+ years of experience crafting production code in C or C++
  • Course work or similar in ASIC design
