NVIDIA is seeking a GPU PCIe and Boot Architect to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to have a significant impact in a dynamic, technology-focused company affecting product lines ranging from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and artificial intelligence.
As a member of the architecture team, you will be responsible for:
- Understanding how GPU sub-system modules interoperate
- Architecting and planning features and infrastructure components for the next generation of GPUs
- Creating functional and performance models along with test plans
- Potentially supporting post-silicon validation activities
- Collaborating with architects, software engineers, designers, and verification engineers globally
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Architecture, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 2-4+ years of experience in C or C++ production code
- Coursework or similar experience in ASIC design
Desired skills:
- Knowledge of advanced interconnects (PCIe, AXI, nvlink, or similar)
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl
- Understanding of modern security constructs and/or encryption
- Knowledge of RISC-V architecture and microcode development
