NVIDIA, the world leader in accelerated computing, is seeking a Hardware Validation Engineer to join their Datacenter Systems Engineering team. This role offers an opportunity to work on groundbreaking compute platforms used by scientists, researchers, and engineers worldwide. You'll be responsible for validating and characterizing system's power management controllers of NVIDIA's datacenter modules, working closely with board designers and Silicon Solutions teams.

The position combines hands-on laboratory work with strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration. You'll be developing and executing validation plans for GPU and CPU modules, working with cutting-edge technology in NVIDIA's datacenter products. The role requires strong technical expertise in hardware/software debugging, circuit analysis, and automation scripting.

Responsibilities For Hardware Validation Engineer

  • Complete validation plans for GPU and CPU modules
  • Electrical and functional validation of power sensors, MCU, I2C, SPI, SMBUS and PCIe interfaces
  • Develop test plans for new features and improve existing plans
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to debug and resolve HW/SW product issues
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve validation speed and efficiency

Requirements For Hardware Validation Engineer

  • BSEE/BSCE or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on hardware/software debug experience
  • Strong understanding of digital design, circuit design analysis and computer architecture
  • Programming skills with experience in Python or other scripting languages
  • Hands-on lab experience with board bringup, lab debug and lab tools
  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills
