Description For Mixed Signal Design Engineer - New College Grad 2024

NVIDIA is seeking a Mixed Signal Design Engineer for their New College Grad 2024 program. This role is part of the mixed-signal design team building next-generation NVLINK. The position offers the opportunity to have real impact in a dynamic, technology-focused company, working on products ranging from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing high-speed interfaces and analog circuits
  • Designing innovative integrated circuits for high-speed trans-receivers and PLLs
  • Defining circuit requirements and completing designs from schematic to characterization
  • Conducting schematic design using tools like Spectre and Hspice
  • Optimizing circuits to meet system performance specifications
  • Collaborating with layout engineers on floorplans and high-speed routings
  • Supporting post-silicon bring-up and debugging

The ideal candidate should be pursuing an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a strong analog design background. Experience with CMOS Analog/Mixed Signal Circuit Design in deep sub-micron processes, familiarity with design and verification tools, and strong debugging and analytical skills are required.

  • Experience in crafting test bench environments
  • Behavioral modeling of analog and digital circuits
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills
  • Analog simulation skills
