Description For Mixed Signal Design Engineer - New College Grad 2024

NVIDIA is seeking mixed-signal/analog design engineers to join their team building next-generation High Speed IOs for GDDR/HBM Memory Interfaces. This role offers an opportunity to make a real impact in a multifaceted, technology-focused company, affecting product lines from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and artificial intelligence.

As a Mixed Signal Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing high-speed interfaces and analog circuits
  • Taking creative integrated circuit designs at data rates of 20Gbps and higher from concept through silicon characterization
  • Defining circuit requirements and completing designs from schematic to characterization
  • Conducting schematic design using tools like Spectre and Hspice
  • Owning architecture, transistor design, and verification using industry-standard EDA tools
  • Optimizing circuits to meet system performance specifications
  • Collaborating with layout engineers on floorplans and high-speed routings
  • Supporting post-silicon bring-up and debugging

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a PhD (preferred) or MS with minimum 2 years of relevant full-time industry experience
  • Experience with Mixed-signal/Analog circuit design fundamentals
  • CMOS Analog / Mixed Signal Circuit Design experience in deep sub-micron process (especially in FINFET)
  • Familiarity with design and verification tools (Cadence's IC design environment, Spectre, HSpice, Finesim, XA)
  • Knowledge of behavioral modeling for analog and digital circuits
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills
  • Experience with analog simulation for noise analysis, loop stability analysis, ac/dc/tran analysis, monte-carlo, etc.

Responsibilities For Mixed Signal Design Engineer - New College Grad 2024

  • Develop and implement high speed interfaces and analog circuits
