Description For Optics Firmware Verification Engineer

NVIDIA is seeking an excellent Optics Firmware Verification Engineer to develop the 1600GbE Data Centers and Networks of tomorrow. As part of the LinkX FW team, you'll work on developing FW for every Transceiver and Optical device, collaborating with industry leaders in Machine Learning Platforms, Data Centers, High Performance Computing, Storage Platforms, and more.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Validating NVIDIA's next-generation network products Firmware
  • Developing cutting-edge technology and systems with Optical Engines
  • Taking part in sophisticated networking Firmware features development for Cloud and Datacenter, focusing on Physical Link-up process and optimizations
  • Collaborating with leading Network companies that are NVIDIA's customers

Requirements:

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 1-5 years of proven experience working with established brands
  • Programming knowledge in C and C++, object-oriented OOP
  • Knowledge about analog and digital electronics
  • Positive mindset, target-oriented, and hardworking spirit

Preferred qualifications:

  • Motivation to learn and constantly improve processes and tools
  • Knowledge of real-time SW, RTOSs, Object-Oriented Programming, Scripting
  • Knowledge of bus protocols like I2C, UART, SPI
  • Experience with MCU low level, bring ups, test equipment (Scope, Logic ...)
  • Good knowledge of standard specs (Ethernet, InfiniBand, CMIS, Physical Layers and Optics)
