Description For Platform Security Architect

NVIDIA is searching for a highly motivated, hands-on Platform Security Architect with extensive experience in SOC and platform security to define and deliver next-gen, novel products. The role involves developing and implementing an industry-leading security architecture throughout all areas of the SOC + GPU.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building the industry-leading security narrative and defining NVIDIA's platform security posture
  • Ensuring offerings meet current standards, requirements, and anticipate industry trends
  • Leading engineering teams to implement the security narrative
  • Performing hands-on triage, cross-functional debug, and implementation in key areas
  • Producing comprehensive documentation for internal and external use
  • Supporting customers and OEMs with integration needs
  • Performing design and threat analysis of software and hardware designs

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of Arm, boot FW, UEFI, and EC operation, signing, attestation
  • Hands-on experience with various platforms and interfacing with OEMs, ODMs, BIOS vendors, partners
  • Excellent documentation and presentation skills
  • Proven track record in providing and following through with pragmatic security requirements
  • Experience with threat modeling and formal design analysis
  • 15+ years of meaningful software engineering experience
  • BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proven success in driving platform security end to end
  • Experience with GPU architecture and security
  • Excellent C programming and low-level driver experience
  • Experience with secure code quality practices and tooling

  • Experience with threat modeling, formal design analysis etc.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and remotely with others to accomplish complex goals
  • 15+ years of meaningful software engineering experience
  • Minimum BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
