Description For Principal CES Software Engineer

NVIDIA's Cloud Engineering and Services (CES) team is seeking a principal software engineer/architect to design and implement a new greenfield service for fraud prevention and enhanced account protection. This role involves developing innovative solutions to combat service abuse and implement powerful Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) strategies across the cloud platform. The architect will be responsible for creating a scalable, multi-tenant architecture that integrates fraud detection mechanisms and sophisticated security features.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting a new greenfield service for fraud prevention and account protection
  • Developing advanced algorithms and machine learning models for service abuse detection
  • Designing and implementing innovative MFA solutions
  • Building robust APIs for real-time fraud detection and adaptive authentication

  • Extensive experience in designing security-focused services, particularly in fraud prevention and authentication
  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and microservices architecture
  • Strong knowledge of cryptography, identity and access management, and modern authentication protocols
  • Expertise in data analysis and machine learning techniques for fraud detection
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale software projects with a security focus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead engineering teams
