This role is part of an elite 10-person team responsible for defining the architecture of NVIDIA's next-generation switch product lines for both Ethernet and InfiniBand. Responsibilities For Principal Switch Engineering Architect

  • Define architecture of NVIDIA's next generation switch product lines for Ethernet and InfiniBand
  • Work cross-functionally with software, ASIC design, verification, physical design and platform teams
  • Define implementation of sophisticated features and algorithms for next products
  • Handle challenging Full-Chip correctness and performance issues
  • Work with board and package design teams on design limitations
  • Understand and implement Ethernet, InfiniBand and NvLink protocols

Requirements For Principal Switch Engineering Architect

  • B.S or MS. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • More than 15 years of experience in ASIC development
  • More than 7 years of experience in uArch/Arch definitions of networking ASICs
  • At least 6 years of hands on experience in writing Verilog/VHDL
  • Strong analytic capabilities
  • Ability to drive complex activities involving many interfaces and teams
  • Good communications skill
