NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Hardware SoC Architect for their Tegra team to be part of the Artificial Intelligence Revolution. This role involves defining the next generation SoC architectures that bring together NVIDIA GPUs, custom processors, and accelerators into a single chip. The position is cross-disciplinary, working with software, ASIC design, verification, physical design, VLSI, and platform teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing next-generation architectural definition flows for SoC definition, assembly, and C-model development
- Driving Architecture/Software/Hardware co-design and collaboration on feature sets
- Performing performance modeling and analysis
- Hardware specification authoring and System C model development
- Architectural validation planning and execution
- Post-Silicon production support and customer documentation
- Industry standards tracking and 3rd party IP technical evaluation
- Patenting novel parts of system architecture
The ideal candidate should have:
- MS or PhD in computer or electrical engineering or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of architecture, design, and/or verification experience
- Expertise in SoC architecture definition
- Strong communication skills and ability to work at all levels of architecture definition
- Experience in SoC Architecture and Design flows
- Knowledge of Accellera IP-XACT, SystemRDL, and Portable Stimulus Standard
- System C or C++ development skills, Python, or relevant programming experience
