Responsibilities For Senior Mechanical Product Design Engineer

  • Contribute to product design execution and lead internal/external teams
  • Prepare early design concepts and product architecture
  • Drive mechanical systems design (Structures, Displays, Acoustic, Battery, Antenna and Thermal Systems)
  • Research ground-breaking technologies, materials and processes
  • Innovate with Industrial Design to invent groundbreaking products

Requirements For Senior Mechanical Product Design Engineer

  • BSME minimum or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years or more experience in product and mechanical design
  • Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
  • Excellent 3D CAD experience (Creo/ProE, Catia, Solidworks, Unigraphics)
  • Strong analytical skills with finite element analysis knowledge
  • Experience in manufacturing processes
  • Experience working with supply chains and manufacturers
  • Background in leading resources including consultants and suppliers
