Responsibilities For Senior Server Firmware Bringup Engineer

  • Designing, implementing, and delivering innovations for managing GPU based AI servers with focus on UEFI development
  • Collaborating with global team of SBIOS developers on NVIDIA server designs
  • Leading bringups of next-gen NVIDIA datacenter platforms
  • Working with Factory and Operations teams on firmware design and validation
  • Working with BMC, FPGA, Hardware teams
  • Partner with security team to ensure developed code meets security goals
  • Collaborate with QA/Test architects on test tools and automation

Requirements For Senior Server Firmware Bringup Engineer

Linux
Python
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • 5+ years of proven experience
  • Experience in Arm boot firmware or UEFI development
  • Solid experience of end-to-end delivery of high-end enterprise servers
  • Solid experience with system architecture and design
  • Understanding of low-level interfaces (I2C/SPI/PCIe/JTAG)
  • Experience working with HW teams, ODMs and vendors
  • Background with C/C++ development, bash/python for scripting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong teamwork and work ethics
