Responsibilities For Senior Server Firmware Bringup Engineer

  • Design, implement, and deliver innovations for managing GPU based AI servers with focus on UEFI development
  • Collaborate with global team of SBIOS developers on NVIDIA server designs
  • Lead bringups of next-gen NVIDIA datacenter platforms
  • Work with Factory and Operations teams on firmware design and validation
  • Work closely with BMC, FPGA, Hardware teams
  • Partner with security team to ensure code security compliance
  • Collaborate with QA/Test architects on test tools and automation

Requirements For Senior Server Firmware Bringup Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • 5+ years of proven experience
  • Experience in Arm boot firmware or UEFI development
  • Solid experience in end-to-end delivery of high-end enterprise servers
  • Strong system architecture and design experience
  • Understanding of low-level interfaces (I2C/SPI/PCIe/JTAG)
  • Experience working with HW teams, ODMs and vendors
  • Proficiency in C/C++, bash/python scripting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter with creative problem-solving abilities
