Description For Senior SOC Design Engineer

NVIDIA, the world leader in accelerated computing, is seeking a Senior SOC Design Engineer to join their System-On-Chip (SOC) group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated Tegra SOCs, pushing the boundaries of chip design with tens of billions of transistors. The position involves RTL integration, chip level front-end design, including padring, pinmuxing, and SOC Assembly processes.

As a Senior SOC Design Engineer, you'll work closely with chip management to set ASIC execution timelines and goals, while directly collaborating with System Architecture, unit-level ASIC, Physical Design, CAD, Package Design, DFT, and other teams. You'll be responsible for driving SOC Assembly, designing chip level functions, and ensuring front-end design quality through reviews and multi-functional team coordination.

Responsibilities For Senior SOC Design Engineer

  • Drive SOC Assembly and design chip level functions for Tegra SOCs
  • Responsible for front-end design quality/correctness checks and reviews
  • Drive SOC execution across chip milestones working with multi-functional teams
  • Define and develop system-level methodologies, tools, and IPs
  • Identify and solve inefficiencies in the front-end chip implementation process

Requirements For Senior SOC Design Engineer

Python
  • B.Tech or M.Tech in Electronics Engineering
  • 5+ years of proven experience in chip design, specializing in SOC integration and design automation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in RTL design (Verilog), System-On-Chip design/implementation flow
  • Strong coding skills in Perl, Python, or other industry-standard scripting languages
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good teamwork spirit and collaboration skills
  • Background in SOC Verification, Synthesis, Physical design and DFT is a bonus
  • Experience in RTL Build flows and Makefiles is a plus
