Responsibilities For Senior Software Safety Manager

  • Plan and drive safety activities to deliver safe and robust software
  • Work with engineers and architects on system software, virtualization, trusted OS, graphics, compute, and safety/security
  • Partner with multi-functional teams to meet customer needs and build robust safety cases
  • Coordinate safety analyses (SW-FMEA, SW-CPA, SW-DFA)
  • Adapt safety processes for reuse across industry domains
  • Implement state-of-the-art software development methods

Requirements For Senior Software Safety Manager

Linux
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of proven experience, with 5+ years in safety-critical embedded systems
  • Experience with ISO 26262, IEC 61508, DO-178C, or ASPICE
  • Strong communication skills for conveying complex ideas
  • Highly organized and adaptable across different geographies
  • Experience in Automotive AI/Autonomous Systems software (preferred)
  • Skills in formal verification of software programs (preferred)
  • Knowledge of LLMs for safety case development (preferred)
