NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Application Engineer to join their Application Engineering team. This role focuses on engaging in partner development for ARM-based CPU with NVIDIA solutions. The ideal candidate will develop and implement laptop products with SOC design, provide technical support during development, testing, and production, and perform system-level tool development/debug. Key responsibilities include participating in partner design reviews, coordinating with multiple engineering teams for OEM laptop product design, analyzing issues, and providing technical training to customers. The role requires excellent skills in ARM System Architecture, solid understanding of system design concepts, and 5+ years of experience in consumer hardware or circuit design. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is necessary. The position involves potential overseas travel and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in AI and accelerated computing.
Responsibilities For Senior System Application Engineer
- Develop and implement laptop product with SOC design and provide technical support during development, testing and production
- System-level tool development/debug from the product segment needed
- Join the partner design review through system architecture, schematics, and layout, thermal and validation plan
- Coordinate with multiple engineer teams to perform design on OEM laptop product in design cycle
- Work with partners for issue analysis, root cause and drive with partner's design quality
- Provide tech training to customers
- Overseas travel will be required if needed
Requirements For Senior System Application Engineer
- Excellent skills in ARM System Architecture for SOC system solutions
- Solid understanding in system design concept
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in consumer hardware or circuit design
- High-Speed Signal design/ strong knowledge of consumer system architecture
- Experience with high-speed design, signal integrity, and power distribution techniques
- Excellent communication skills, flexibility in task assignments
