Description For Senior System Verification Engineer

NVIDIA, the pioneer in GPU technology and leader in accelerated computing, is seeking a Senior System Verification Engineer for their Emulation division. This role combines cutting-edge technology work with system-level verification challenges in a diverse, family-friendly environment.

The position involves working with state-of-the-art emulation techniques, including C/C++ DPI Transactors, SV assertions, Coverage, and Power Estimation. You'll be responsible for bringing up complex systems like GPUs, SOCs, and NICs on emulation platforms, while debugging system-level test failures and environment issues. The role requires expertise in both high-speed protocols (PCIe/CXL/NVLINK/IB/Ethernet) and low-speed protocols (I2C/I3C/SPI/UART).

As a Senior System Verification Engineer, you'll collaborate across multiple teams including Design, DV, Power, Silicon Validation, Performance, and Software teams. This cross-functional role requires strong technical skills and the ability to lead emulation vendors in debugging complex issues. The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $168,000 to $310,500, plus equity and benefits.

The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience, an M.S. or equivalent in a relevant field, and strong proficiency in Verilog, VHDL, C/C++, and SystemVerilog. Experience with UVM verification environments and scripting languages is essential. Responsibilities For Senior System Verification Engineer

  • Support multiple emulation environments using latest emulation techniques
  • Bring up GPUs, SOCs, Switch, NIC on emulation
  • Bring-up and verify High Speed protocols
  • Debug CPU and GPU Coherency issues
  • Collaborate with Design, DV, Power, Silicon Validation, Performance, and Software teams
  • Lead emulation vendors to debug issues
  • Write monitors and checkers for HW test issues and FW/SW bring-up

Requirements For Senior System Verification Engineer

Python
  • M.S or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of proven experience
  • Proficiency in Verilog and/or VHDL, C/C++ and SystemVerilog
  • Protocol knowledge of high-speed interfaces
  • Experience with UVM verification environments
  • Scripting skills with Perl, Python and C/C++
  • Familiarity with hierarchical design approach and system level verification
  • Must work on-site at Santa Clara, CA location
