The position involves working with state-of-the-art emulation techniques and tools to verify complex systems including GPUs, SOCs, and various high-speed protocols. You'll be part of a team that's fundamental to NVIDIA's hardware quality assurance, working on everything from low-level protocol verification to system-level integration testing.

As a Senior System Verification Engineer, you'll collaborate across multiple teams including Design, DV, Power, Silicon Validation, Performance, and Software teams. This cross-functional role requires both technical expertise and strong communication skills. You'll be working with the latest technologies in GPU and CPU architecture, handling complex debugging scenarios, and contributing to the development of next-generation computing systems.

Responsibilities For Senior System Verification Engineer

  • Support multiple emulation environments using latest emulation techniques
  • Bring up GPUs, SOCs, Switch, NIC on emulation
  • Root cause system level test fails and emulator environment issues
  • Bring-up and verify High Speed protocols
  • Debug issues related to CPU and GPU Coherency
  • Collaborate with Design, DV, Power, Silicon Validation, Performance, and Software teams
  • Lead emulation vendors to debug issues using various tools
  • Write monitors and checkers for HW test issues and FW/SW bring-up

Requirements For Senior System Verification Engineer

Python
  • M.S or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of proven experience
  • Proficiency in Verilog and/or VHDL, C/C++ and SystemVerilog
  • Protocol knowledge of high-speed interfaces (PCIe/CXL/NVLINK/IB/Ethernet)
  • Experience with UVM verification environments
  • Scripting skills with Perl, Python and C/C++
  • Familiarity with hierarchical design approach, top-down design, SoC and system level verification
  • Must work on-site at Santa Clara, CA location
