Description For Senior Tegra System Performance Architect

NVIDIA, the world leader in accelerated computing, is seeking a Senior Tegra System Performance Architect to join their innovative team. This role is at the forefront of the Artificial Intelligence Revolution, working on next-generation SoCs for machine learning, autonomous vehicles, and high-performance computing applications. As a Senior Tegra System Performance Architect, you'll collaborate with world-class systems architects and deep learning experts, working cross-functionally with software, ASIC design, verification, and platform teams.

The position offers an opportunity to work on the most advanced SoCs in the world, bringing together NVIDIA GPUs, custom processors, and accelerators under extreme conditions. You'll be responsible for architectural modeling, performance optimization, and system-level debugging, making critical engineering trade-offs that push the state of the art in computing.

The role requires expertise in both hardware architecture and software development, with a focus on complex SoC systems. You'll be working in a collaborative environment, solving challenges at various levels from micro-architecture to system and software architecture. The position offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $184,000 - $356,500 USD, plus equity and benefits.

Responsibilities For Senior Tegra System Performance Architect

  • Build and use architectural modeling tools to drive hardware architecture decisions
  • Work with product development teams to optimize application performance
  • Profile and debug SoC application performance
  • Model and debug SoC hardware performance pre and post-silicon
  • Model performance, perf@watt, and perf/area, and analyze tradeoffs throughout the design process

Requirements For Senior Tegra System Performance Architect

Linux
  • MS degree in computer or electrical engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of architecture and/or software development experience
  • Very strong software development skills (C++) and deep knowledge of OS/driver software stacks
  • Experience with Linux/QNX/Windows
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a global team
