NVIDIA is seeking a System SW Engineering Manager to join their SW GPU organization in India. In this role, you will drive software execution for targeted SoC platforms and products, lead software discussions with various teams and industry partners, and set priorities for full-stack execution. You'll be responsible for understanding new platforms and products, driving customer support globally, and working closely with BSP integration teams to ensure high quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving SW execution for targeted SoC platforms and products
- Leading SW discussions with NVIDIA product, release management, HW and SW teams, and industry partners
- Setting SW priorities and driving full-stack execution
- Managing customer support and efficiently triaging, isolating, and debugging issues
- Collaborating with BSP integration teams to identify coverage gaps and streamline resources
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in managing a team
- 10+ years of experience in leading teams, especially for system level and platform software
- Strong understanding of SoC and system level architecture
- Proven track record in integrating diverse deliverables and driving unified plans
- Ability to influence decisions and lead teams in a matrix environment
- Hands-on experience with software development and testing, particularly for system software and firmware
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve technical issues and resource challenges
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Prior Technical Management experience
- In-depth understanding of system level architecture (interconnects, memory hierarchy, interrupts, memory-mapped IO)
- Experience with kernel mode development
- Experience with Linux and Windows driver development
- Familiarity with C/C++
