Description For Systems Engineer, Enterprise

NVIDIA, the world leader in accelerated computing, is seeking a Solution Engineer for their NVIDIA Enterprise Experience (NVEX) Team. This role focuses on helping key customers deploy next-generation DSCI High Performance Computing (HPC) server products. As a Systems Engineer, you'll work with the largest customers on deploying sophisticated GPU-based server designs worldwide. The position requires a unique blend of electrical engineering expertise, software knowledge, and embedded systems understanding.

The role involves being the crucial bridge between customers and internal teams, including customer support, product quality, and engineering. You'll be responsible for triaging complex system-level issues, performing datacenter bring-ups, and ensuring deployed products meet the highest standards of functionality and reliability. The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in high-performance computing.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, including Linux expertise and programming capabilities, backed by 6+ years of experience. Responsibilities For Systems Engineer, Enterprise

  • Partner closely with key customers to ensure deployed products are functional, serviceable, manufacturable and reliable
  • Perform bring-ups in customer datacenters and address tough system level issues
  • Be the bridge between customer deployments and engineering and product quality
  • Work with validation engineers and participate in collaborative efforts with firmware and software engineers
  • Help codify re-occurring issues into triage BOTs to remove the human in the loop for support services
  • Define and test diagnostic software for production testing and debug of Enterprise Class HPC Servers

Requirements For Systems Engineer, Enterprise

Linux
  • MS-BS/EE or EECE required or equivalent experience (Masters preferred) in Applied Science or Engineering
  • 6+ years of overall experience
  • 5 or more years of relevant engineering experience in a product-development environment
  • Familiarity with the Linux operating system, CLI shells, programming, and scripting
