NVIDIA is seeking a Test Developer Engineer to join their Robotics Isaac Product QA team. This role is at the forefront of revolutionizing how AI, robots, and autonomous machines work together. The position is part of Project Isaac, which is building a cutting-edge robotics platform for developing next-generation intelligent robots. The platform combines high-fidelity visual and physical simulation, optimized algorithms for computer vision and AI, and powerful computational capabilities.

As a Test Developer, you'll be integral to a diverse team responsible for testing and maintaining the quality of sophisticated software powering intelligent robots. You'll work with highly competitive and motivated engineers on the industry's first Robotic AI Development Platform with Simulation, Navigation, and Manipulation.

The role demands strong technical expertise in embedded software testing, robotics, and AI. Key responsibilities include developing test strategies, automated testing, and working closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Python, Linux, and robotics technologies, with experience in AI development tools and functional safety standards.

Responsibilities For Test Developer - Robotics

  • Build test strategy, test plans and automated test cases based on customer requirements
  • Review and provide feedback on product features, specifications, and technical design documents
  • Work with project management and software developers teams
  • Publish statistical data reports to partners
  • Develop and validate robotics applications and simulation use cases
  • Use AI tools to optimize test development and automation

Requirements For Test Developer - Robotics

Python
Linux
  • B.Tech. or Equivalent degree in CS/CE/IT/ECE/EEE
  • 3+ years hands-on testing experience in embedded software stack
  • Experience with Linux and/or QNX
  • Knowledge in robotics perception, navigation, manipulation and simulation
  • Strong Python skills
  • Development experience using AI development tools for testing
  • Experience with functional safety standards (ISO 26262)
  • Experience with Git, Perforce, JIRA, JAMA
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
