NVIDIA is seeking highly motivated individuals to join its fast-paced customer delivery organization as a Vehicle Software Engineer based in the Stuttgart region. This role involves supporting efforts to bring up data collection vehicles and adapt NVIDIA's autonomous driving software stack to various vehicles, driving function behavior to maturity.
Responsibilities include:
- Scaling efforts of data collection vehicles bringup
- Integrating, adapting, and testing NVIDIA vehicle automation software in customer development vehicles
- Installing, trouble-shooting, and operating software
- Collecting test data and tuning parameters live in-car
- Understanding quality standards and expected functionality of new features
- Analyzing and diagnosing events contributing to metrics, identifying issues, and improving product experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering field
- Well-rounded knowledge of electronics, software, and mechatronics
- Good knowledge of embedded systems, C/C++, and a scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Proficiency in operating a complex software stack
- Ability to work efficiently with Linux environment on the command line
- Good communication and organization skills
- Logical approach to problem-solving, time management, and task prioritization
- Passion for working on vehicles, autonomous driving, or software engineering
- Daily onsite attendance in the greater Stuttgart area
- Flexibility in work hours and willingness to travel around Europe
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of automotive technologies and autonomous vehicle software stacks
- Internship experience as ADAS software engineer at a Tier 1 or OEM
- Practical experience integrating components into one solution
- Understanding of vehicle architecture and communication protocols
- EU driver license and advanced driving skills for test driving prototypes
