Responsibilities For Senior Node.js Developer with AWS DevOps Knowledge - Octopus (6 months contract)
- Design and implement scalable and efficient backend microservices using Node.js
- Collaborate with frontend developers and team members to establish objectives and design functional codes
- Develop and maintain all server-side network components
- Ensure optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests
- Collaborate with solutions architect, product owners, and designers
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Implement security and data protection systems
- Write high-quality, clean, and maintainable code, conduct code reviews
- Understand basic AWS services to support backend functionality
- Implement basic CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools
- Monitor and improve system performance and reliability on AWS infrastructure
Requirements For Senior Node.js Developer with AWS DevOps Knowledge - Octopus (6 months contract)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Node.js developer
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ES6 or later
- Knowledge of Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express, StrongLoop)
- Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience with user authentication and authorization
