Description For Heating Engineer

Octopus Energy Services is seeking passionate Heating Engineers to join their mission of driving the global renewable energy revolution. As a Heating Engineer, you'll be responsible for installing Air Source Heat Pumps in customers' homes, working as part of a team to deliver an amazing experience. You'll use your knowledge and experience in heating system installations, review technical specifications, collaborate with electricians, and continuously learn about new technologies at their innovative R&D training centre.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing low carbon technology, primarily Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Reviewing and collaborating on technical specifications and mechanical drawings
  • Commissioning Air Source Heat Pumps with electricians
  • Ongoing learning about new technologies

The ideal candidate should have:

  • G3 (unvented cylinder) qualification or proven experience
  • Experience in boiler installations (Air Source Heat Pump knowledge is a plus)
  • Plumbing and heating engineering experience with system design knowledge
  • Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points
