Octopus Energy Services is at the forefront of the global renewable energy revolution, seeking passionate Heating Engineers to join their mission of sustainable energy transformation. This role focuses on installing Air Source Heat Pumps in customers' homes, combining technical expertise with customer service excellence.

The position offers a comprehensive package including a competitive salary of £38,000 basic (up to £45,000 with on-target earnings), plus additional benefits like share options, vehicle, and training opportunities. As a Heating Engineer, you'll be responsible for installing low-carbon technology, primarily Air Source Heat Pumps, working alongside electricians and other team members. Responsibilities For Heating Engineer

  • Working as part of a team to install low carbon technology in customers' homes - starting with Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Using knowledge and experience of heat pump installations to deliver an amazing experience
  • Reviewing and collaborating on technical specifications and mechanical drawings
  • Working with an electrician to commission Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Continuously learning about new technologies at innovative R&D training centre

Requirements For Heating Engineer

  • G3 (unvented cylinder) qualification OR proven experience
  • Experience in the installation of boilers
  • Experience as a plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Knowledge of heating system design and ability to fault find
