Smart Meter Engineer

Octopus Energy Services is seeking dedicated Smart Meter Engineers to join their mission of driving the global renewable energy revolution. As a Smart Meter Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our customer-facing operations, combining technical expertise with excellent customer service skills.

The role involves installing smart meters in customers' homes, but it's more than just technical work. You'll be an ambassador for our brand, educating customers about their new smart meters, explaining how in-home displays can help them save energy, and answering questions about the green energy revolution we're leading.

We provide comprehensive support through our office team and leverage advanced technology to streamline processes, ensuring you can focus on delivering exceptional service. The compensation package is highly competitive, starting at £36,500 with additional earning potential through on-call and Saturday work. Benefits include a £2,500 annual performance bonus, company vehicle with fuel, tools, and share options in Octopus Energy Group. London-based engineers receive an additional £3,000 weighting.
