Responsibilities For COBOL Developer

  • Work closely with engineering and product development teams
  • Facilitate positive inbound and outbound communications with customers
  • Handle technical support activities
  • Process customer requests for information or assistance
  • Provide insight and education about platform to prospective customers
  • Configure setup for customers
  • Define coding standards to ensure code integrity

Requirements For COBOL Developer

Java
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically
  • Must be able to attain low-level security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with mainframe programming in COBOL
  • Understanding of developing, designing, coding, and testing enterprise software applications
  • In-depth understanding of project management and software development cycle
  • Knowledge of business processes
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile methodology
  • Database experience with VSAM
  • Experience with Windows, IBM Mainframe, UNIX
  • Experience in documenting systems and programs
